Chinese smartphone major Huawei has joined the big boys in the league of Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The Chinese major has begun the update for its Honor 7 smartphone. The device was launched back in October and went on sale for Rs 22,999.
The maker posts an official statement on its Facebook page and asked users to register with their details for their respective updates. Clicking on registration link reveals a form where users need to fill in their details like smartphone’s current software version, IMEI number, email address and even a contact number.
After submitting the form, the users of Honor 7 are expected to get the update notifications within next 24-48 hours. With the new updates, the device is expected to have fingerprint scanner along with performance battery life improvements, better app permissions and app linking.
The Honor 7 features 5.2 inch full HD display which runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with 3 GB of RAM.
