Lava launches Iris 550Q at Rs 13,000 price tag

Indian phone maker, Lava has launched its latest model Iris 550q on Wednesday. It has been priced at Rs 13,000 and will be available from early April.

Indian phone maker, Lava has launched its latest model Iris 550q on Wednesday. It has been priced at Rs 13,000 and will be available from early April.

The Iris 550q is a mid- premium phablet powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor that runs on Android Jelly Bean OS 4.2.

The phablet has a super narrow 3mm bezel and comes with a 5.5 inch IPS display full lamination touch screen with HD resolution.

The 8 MP primary camera along with 2 MP front camera comes with BSI sensor and can record video at 1080p resolution.

The phone has 1GB RAM and 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB. The 2,600-mAh battery is one of the strong points of the phone. It provides ample back up for multimedia, stand by and talk time of up to 10 hours on 2G.
