Nokia has decided to launch its two new Android-based devices X+ and XL in the second quarter (April-June) of 2014.

Nokia has decided to launch its two new Android-based devices X+ and XL in the second quarter (April-June) of 2014.

Stating that India is world's third-largest market for smartphones, Ravi Kunwar, Director (North) of Nokia said, "The market for smart phones in the range of Rs 6,000 to Rs 15,000 will grow very fast in the country."

Nokia had officially announced the launch of three devices based on the open Android platform-X, X+ and XL-at the Mobile World Congress and these will be priced between 89 euros and 109 euros.

"With the launch of Nokia X, we have decided to add more ammunition with X+ and XL to our smartphone portfolio. This can bring out a unique combination of Nokia quality and experiences, Microsoft services and Android apps," concluded Kunwar.
