SoftBank-Honda partner to develop 'talking car'

SoftBank has announced that it was teaming up with Honda to develop ‘talking cars’. The Japanese telecommunications and internet corporation said it was exploring ways to apply its humanoid robotic technology to cars.

This would let the cars communicate with drivers that would help them park or offer company on long trips.

The announcement was made following SoftBank’s decision to buy British chip designer ARM Holdings.
