Chinese handset maker ZTE on MOnday unveiled its Android KitKat OS powered phablet - Grand Memo II LTE - which will hit global markets starting April.
The 6-inch ultra slim LTE smartphone with split screen functionality comes with ZTE's MiFavor 2.3 user interface (UI) and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor.
It also features 13 megapixel rear camera, 5MP front camera, 3200mAh battery and 2GB RAM.
The device will be launched in April in China, followed by simultaneous launches in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. The price of the device was not disclosed.
"The Grand Memo II LTE is designed to meet the increasing user demand for stylish design with an intuitive user experience. High performance technology must be met with a simplistic user interface which allows users to customise their experience based on personal preferences," ZTE Executive Vice President and CEO (Mobile Devices) Zeng Xuezhong said.
With 4G as a standard feature, the Grand Memo II LTE can stream movies at high speeds. Its 3200mAh battery allows for 16 hours of continuous HD video playback or 72 hours of music playback.
