Indian-born Sriram Krishnan, A former top executive from Snap and Facebook, has been hired as senior director of product by the micro-blogging website Twitter.

Krishnan on Twitter declared is hiring by the micro-blogging website. He tweeted, “I'm going to be joining Twitter and become a part of #theflock to work with the fantastic product team there.”

In a series of tweets he has shown his excitement of joining the micro-blogging website.

Krishnan in one of his tweets wrote, “Can't wait to get started Oct 2nd and work with @jack, @kcoleman, @mrdonut, @anthonynoto and everyone else!”

Jack Dorsey, chief executive officer of Twitter tweeted, “So so so so so so excited to have you Sriram! Welcome home."

According to a report published by Recode Sriram while working with the Facebook had helped building the company’s advertising network, audience network and at Snap he helped build out the company’s ad API.

According to one of the tweets tweeted by Sriram he is going to join the micro-blogging website Twitter on October 2 and will report to vice president of Twitter Keith Coleman.

According to the report he will be responsible for developing and enhancing the core feature of the main app, including timeline and direct messaging and search.
