What's up with this purple flower reaction button on Facebook
Facebook has come up with a new reaction button for its users. The new reaction button, a purple flower, was added on Friday. The reaction is a way of saying you are grateful (iOS) or thankful (in case you are using an Android or are logged on from a desktop) for posts on news feed.
Facebook has six other reactions ‘like’, ‘love’, ‘wow’, ‘haha’, ‘sad’ and ‘angry’ reactions buttons for posts. But there is no dislike option yet. This is part of Facebook’s ongoing process to provide more ways to people to react to posts.
The reaction was earlier also launched by Facebook right before Mother’s Day. But at that time, it was added as temporary reaction and could not be seen after the special day.
And now this year also, the reaction has made a comeback around Mother’s day. Now it is to see whether the reaction will have a permanent stay or say goodbye just after the celebrations of Mother’s Day.
