WhatsApp, world's largest messaging app, is set to add up yet another feature to make the application more functional for its users.

This new feature will introduce a Picture-in-Picture mode during video calling which will also users to use their devices for any purpose while making video calls.

As per a tweet by WABetaInfo, a particular API of the Android 8.0 was used by WhatsApp to enable this feature and will be spotted inside the 2.17.265 version of WhatsApp.

However, it is still ambiguous if this Picture-in-Picture mode would be able to move around the screen or placed at a fixed position. More results are still awaited for this upcoming upagrade.

As this feature has been seen on Android, we will have to wait and see if it will make its way to iPhone soon as well, though given the fact the new feature is said to be using Android O's APIs, that might be a little difficult.
