Xiaomi Redmi 5A, which was launched at an exclusive price of Rs 4,999, will now be available in Big Bazaar outlets after the company partnered with the Indian retail store to sell the Redmi Note 4 in its outlets.
Pegged as ‘Desh ka Smartphone’ that hit the market in August 2017, comes in two variants at a starting price of Rs 4,999 and is available exclusively via Flipkart. Apart from the online e-commerce portal, the smartphone is also available via Mi.com and Mi Home stores.
Customers who will buy 'Desh Ka Smartphone' via Big Bazar can avail a further cashback of Rs 1,000 which will effectively cost Rs 4,499 from earlier Rs 5,499.

In addition to the Rs 1,000 cashback, users purchasing the Redmi 5A from Big Bazaar can also avail a 10 per cent discount if payment transactions are done through Axis Bank credit and debit cards. The offer will be valid from January 22 to January 28 or until the stocks last.

The Redmi 5A features a 5-inch 720p HD display. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset, the smartphone is available in two storage variants, 2 GB RAM with 16 GB internal storage and 3 GB RAM with 32 GB internal storage.
Sporting a 13-mp rear camera and a 5-mp front camera, the smartphone received MIUI 9 stable update based on Android Nougat. The Redmi 5A packs a 3,000 mAh battery under its hood and is available in three color variants, Gold, Grey, and Rose Gold.
