LG is all set to announce a brand new W series in India on June 26 this year. The first smartphone under W series will be LG W10 and it will retailed via Amazon after the device goes official. The Amazon as well as the LG has already revealed major highlights of the upcoming smartphone such as its triple camera setup and colour options.
It is to be noted that LG has already sent out invites for the upcoming W-series phone launch on June 26 in India. The event is expected to begin at 11:30am in New Delhi.
As per the teaser images that has gone live on official website of LG India, the new LG W10 will pack triple rear cameras and will be available in three colour options with gradient design including blue, jade green and black. The smartphone also has a glossy rim running around the edges with a curved profile. In the meantime, the Amazon is also providing the information of smartphone and a ‘Notify Me' button.
LG W10 – What we know so far?
The LG W10 will be an affordable smartphone that will be equipped with a few notable features such as a triple camera setup that will include a wide-angle lens, night mode, portrait mode, bokeh mode and possible dedicated night mode for low-light photography. It will also include unique gradient colours and the option to customise the display notch.
LG has further revealed that the smartphone will be powered by a 12nm octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. However, the smartphone-maker has not specified whether it will a be MediaTek SoC or a Qualcomm offering.
It is also rumoured that the LG W10 will pack a hefty 4,000mAh battery and will ship with Android 9 Pie. However, it is unclear whether the smartphone will be a stock Android interface or customised UI. The LG W10 will also come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and will be offered in three colours - green, black and blue.
As per the teaser image, users will be able to choose between a ‘U' and ‘V-shaped' notch, or even fully hide it with black bars on either side. The handset is said to sport a 6.2-inch display and will be offered with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
