PUBG introduces new vehicles, flare guns for Vikendi mode (Image credit: PUBG website)
Recently, the makers of popular online battle royal game PlayerUnknown's Battleground or PUBG released the much-anticipated zombie mode, known as ‘Survive Till Dawn’. Now, PUBG Corp has announced a new update which will include new vehicle for the Vikendi mode along with a new flare gun. The UAZs will be replace b Zima in Vikendi mode which will have a nice control over snow compared to other vehicles. The all-new 4×4 Zima will be much easier to maneuver compared to other vehicles.
The website also reveals that while the Zima is relatively slow, it has high durability making it ideal for combat situations.
Another vehicle which is introduced in the new update is a snowbike which is replacing motorbikes on Vikendi. As per the PUBG website, What the Snowbike lacks in durability, it makes up for with high speed and great maneuverability.
An item which has also been introduced in the Vikendi mode is a flare gun which spawns special care package on firing. When the Flare Gun is fired inside the current safe zone, player call in a special care package with lots of loot, or an armored UAZ when fired while outside the current safe zone.
Other features which are added in the new updates includes improved reflective effects on the lens of scopes, now the tires will be destroyed immediately when a vehicle is destroyed. The makers of the game will also be testing to study and improve the rate of fire changing based on FPS.
During the gameplay of the recently released ‘Survive Till Dawn’ zombie mode, the player will have to jump from the aeroplane in a closed area which is not stretched to the complete area. As soon as the game comes into the night mode, fog crepts in rendering visibility to close to zero and the undead starts rising and begins to follow you. Once you kill a zombie, it will leave you with some ammo, scope and other important arsenal.
There are different types of zombies, cop zombies, fat zombies, zombies which can spit acid, and others which swipe at you until you are knocked out and eventually die.
