If you are a die-hard of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, then the makers of the Battle royal game have a good news for you. Tencent Games has announced the PUBG Mobile India Series 2019 tournament with a prize pool of Rs 1 crore. It will be a squad only tournament and no single or duo player matches will be held. The registrations for the first ever open to all PUBG Mobile tournament are now open and it includes cash prizes and phones which is sponsored by Oppo. Interested games can register themselves for the tournament by visiting the official website of PUBG.
The gamers whose PUBG Mobile account is above level 20 are eligible for registration and the qualifier will take place between January 21 to January 28. After the qualifier round, top 2000 teams will be selected for the Online Playoffs which is scheduled to be held from February 9 to February 24.

Later, top 20 teams will lock horn in the Grand Finale, to be held on March 10
Everything you need to know about the PUBG Mobile India Series 2019:
Registrations – Interested gamer can register themselves for the tournament by verifying their email address. Once the registration process is complete, you can either join or create a squad with minimum four members.
In case if you are joining a squad, you will need a Squad ID otherwise click Create Squad button to create one and invite players. Only Indian resident will be allowed to register for the tournament.
Qualifier – After registration and creating or joining a squad, the team of four players will require to play 15 Classic mode matches in Erangel out of which 10 best matches will be considered for the final result. It will be held for seven days starting from January 21 to January 28.
Playoffs – Only top 2000 team will be entitled to play in the Playoffs which will be held in three rounds. In round one, top 2000 squads will fight it out and top 400 team will make it into round two which will ultimately reduce to just 80 teams in the end for round three.
At the end, only top 20 team will qualify for the Grand Finale which will take place on March 10.

Prize Money – The total prize money for the PUBG Mobile India Series 2019 is Rs 1 crore where the winning team will bag Rs 30 lakh, Rs 10 lakh for the runner-up and Rs 5 lakh for the second runner-up. The top 10 team will also get cash prizes and along with some individual awards for players who will receive Rs 50,000 each.

MVP Award – Awarded to the player with maximum number of MVP
The Exterminators – Awarded to the team with maximum kills
The Healers – Awarded to the team with the highest number of revives
The Redeemer – Awarded to the player with the highest amount of health restored
The Lone Ranger – Awarded to the player with the maximum survival time
The Rampage Freak – Awarded to the player for the maximum number of kills in one game.
