There is no doubt that WhatsApp is one of the most used apps on a day-to-day basis irrespective of the region or country you live in. The Facebook-owned app is known for adding new features on a regular basis.
The most popular messaging application is coming with a new exciting feature, i.e., now you can pin up to three of your favourite contacts on the top of your chat box list. And they will remain on top irrespective of the timings of your conversations with them.
However, the new feature is on a trial basis on Android only, but it is expected that it will come soon on other operating systems. But there’s a good news for you if you are running WhatsApp beta version for Android versions 2.17.162 or 2.17.163. You are the ones who can use this new feature prior to anyone else.

How can you use this new feature?
1. Press on the particular individual or group that you want to pin.2. After selecting, options like Pin, Delete, Mute and Archive will come on the top.3. Select ‘Pin’ and that particular individual or group will be pinned on the top of your conversation list.4. You can pin up to three chats of your choice.
Your chat with others will come under the pinned chats, irrespective of how frequent you chat with them. There is also an option to unpin the selected chat and you can do it anytime. You just have to long press the chat that you would like to unpin and you can disable it from the ‘Options’ at the top.
