The year 2017 saw the launch of many smartphones at all levels to suit the consumers of all kinds. The latest entrant in the market is 10.or D (10.or pronounced as Tenor) which was launched last week stands in a head to head competition with Xiaomi’s Redmi 5A.
Let us now see which smartphone won the buyer’s heart.

10.or D will come at an aggressive price of Rs 4,999 for the base model that house a 2 GB RAM and a 16 GB inbuilt memory and Rs 5,999 for 3 GB RAM and 32 GB memory. Both models will go for sale at e-commerce giant Amazon on January 5 in Beyond Black and Aim Gold colours.
On the other hand Redmi 5A will come at a price of Rs 5,999 for 2GB and 32 variant and Rs 6,999 for 3GB RAM/32 GB variant and in dark grey, gold, and rose gold colours.

10.or D is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and sports a 5.2-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS LCD display. One can take clear pictures with 13 MP primary camera and 5 MP front camera for selfies and video calling.
The fingerprint scanner can be located at the rear of the phone. A 3500 mAh non removable battery powers the 10.or D that gives the user an uninterrupted power supply.
The Redmi 5A is similar in many of the specs above except the display which is 0.2 inch lesser than the 10.or D and a 3000 mAh battery.

Where the 10.or D comes with certain pre-loaded Amazon Apps the MIUI 9 based Redmi 5A houses with pre-installed Microsoft Office apps.
Both phones run on Android 7.1.2 Nougat but an update of Android 8.0 Oreo is expected for the 10.or D in 2018.
