To compete with the ongoing competition in the telecom industry in India, Bharti Airtel has come up with another prepaid plan for its users offering more high-speed data at economical cost.

A new prepaid plan of Rs 219 has been introduced which offers 1.4 GB high-speed data along with unlimited calling and 100 SMS. Additionally, the users also get Hello tunes for the same validity period.

There is also a Rs 199 plan from Airtel which offers the same data and services but the user does not Hello Tunes services.

The plan is launched to compete with Reliance Jio’s Rs 198 plan which offers its users 2GB high-speed data with unlimited calling, messaging services plus Jio suite of apps and free caller tunes.

Apart from Airtel and Jio, Vodafone also has a Rs 199 plan which provides its users 1GB of 4G data for 28 days along with unlimited calling. However, SMSs are not free and will be chargeable at the rate of Rs 0.25.

Idea also gives 1GB of 4G data along with unlimited national calling in Rs 199 prepaid plan.

Recently, Airtel also launched a Rs 49 plan for data hungry users. In the plan, the users get 3GB of high-speed data. The plan was launched to give a counter Jio Rs 49 plan which provides 1 GB of high-speed data for 7 days.
