Amazon might be planning to launch a new messaging app called Anytime

The giant online retailer Amazon is reportedly working on a new messaging app called Anytime. Through this people can chat, share photos, make video calls.

According to a news report from AFTV news, Amazon has started surveying customers to know what features are important for people. The description in the survey notes that the app would allow people to connect to each other without knowing their phone numbers.

Anytime will have standard messaging features such as encryption, video support, audio support and stickers. Amazon says user will be able to "encrypt important messages" at a higher level of security, while voice call and audio call will be private and secure.

There will also be a feature for location sharing,simultaneous music listening, food ordering and bill split.Amazon says app will also support business chat.
