Apple's iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, and iPhone 8 has received a price hike in India due to an increase in customs duty on imported mobile phones and chargers along with social welfare surcharge in the Union Budget 2020. According to a report of NDTV’S Gadgets 360, there are no changes in the prices of the iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac devices. It is worth mentioning here that the price hike on iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, and iPhone 8 came into effect starting today.
iPhone 11 Pro Max: Price Hike
The price for the 64GB storage variant of iPhone 11 Pro Max in India has now been set at Rs 1,11,200, while its 256GB model costs Rs 1,25,200 and the 512GB version carries a price tag of Rs 1,43,200. Earlier, the price for the 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage variant of iPhone 11 Pro Max in India was set at Rs 1,09,900, Rs 1,23,900, and Rs 1,41,900, respectively. This means the price of iPhone 11 Pro Max in India has been increased by Rs 1,300.
iPhone 11 Pro: Price Hike
The price for iPhone 11 Pro in India has also been increased by Rs 1,300. The price for the 64GB storage variant of iPhone 11 Pro in India has now been set at Rs 1,01,200, while its 256GB model costs Rs 1,15,200 and the 512GB version carries a price tag of Rs 1,33,200. Earlier, the price for the 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage variant of iPhone 11 Pro in India was set at Rs 99,900, Rs 1,13,900, and Rs 1,31,900, respectively.
iPhone 8: Price Hike
The price for the 64GB storage variant of iPhone 8 in India has now been set at Rs 40,500, while its 128GB model costs Rs 45,500. Earlier the price of 64GB and 128GB storage variant of iPhone 8 was Rs 39,900 and Rs 44,900, respectively. This means the price of iPhone 8 in India has been increased by Rs 600.
iPhone 8 Plus: Price Hike
The price for the 64GB storage variant of iPhone 8 Plus has now been set at Rs 50,600, while its 128GB model costs Rs 55,600. Earlier the price of 64GB and 128GB storage variant of iPhone 8 Plus was Rs 49,900 and 54,900, respectively. This means the price of iPhone 8 Plus in India has been increased by Rs 700.

It is worth mentioning here that there is no price hike for iPhone XR and iPhone 7 as these models are assembled in India. Also, there is no price hike for popular iPhone 11 and iPad, Apple Watch and Mac desktops. The revised prices are already reflecting on the Apple India site. However, online marketplaces including Amazon and Flipkart are yet to bring the updated pricing structure.
