The iPhone X went on sale in India as part of the first round of availability for the brand loyal Apple customers. The US smartphone major has priced the iPhone X price as high as Rs. 1,02,000. It is the first major handset in the country to cross the Rs. 1 lakh-mark.
iPhone X India sales began at 6pm IST, with dozens of people lining up outside stores hours before that time in order to be the first to get their hands on the smartphone. However, the phone would be available in limited supply as the company might not be able to meet the high demand for the full-screen iPhone X.
The smartphone was put up for pre-orders last Friday with various offers in India including Rs. 10,000 cashback for Citibank credit card users, a Jio Buyback Offer, and more. Reliance Jio had its own pre-order offers as well, while Airtel did not offer pre-orders, but is providing cashback for a limited period between 6pm IST Friday and 7am IST on Saturday via its online store.
Apart from India, the iPhone X goes on sale in Andorra, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, the UK, the US, and US Virgin Islands for the very first time on Friday.
