Recently, Asus launched its flagship smartphone called ‘6Z’. Well, you must be planning to purchase the device. Aren’t you? Here’s a piece of good news for you. Asus 6Z with 128GB and 256GB, and 8GB + 256GB storage model are finally available for sale in the Indian market. It is to be noted that the Asus 6Z with 64GB variant has already been on sale since last week.
Asus 6Z: Prices & Offers
For the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant of Asus 6Z price in India has been set at Rs 31,999 and the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant of Asus 6Z costs Rs 39,999. The 8 GB RAM/256GB storage variant of Asus 6Z is priced at Rs 39,999.
The phonemaker is offering a Complete Mobile Protection Plan with the Asus 6Z. It includes liquid damage, broken screens and can be bought for just Rs 99 instead of its original cost of Rs 3,999. Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card, ICICI Credit and Debit cards customers can avail an instant discount of 5 per cent on the purchase of the smartphone.
Asus 6Z: Specifications
The Asus 6Z measures 159.1x75.11x8.1-9.1mm and it weighs 190 grams. It features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ LCD display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Asus 6Z comes with a dual-SIM (Nano) and it runs on Android Pie with the company's Zen UI 6 on top. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and Adreno 640 GPU.
On the optics front, there are two cameras on the smartphone’s back – a 48-megapixel sensor and a 13-megapixel shooter. Interestingly, both the cameras are fixed on a motorised panel that flips when selfie mode is turned on. The cameras flip upwards so as to double as selfie cameras, in addition to when the face unlock is functioning.
Asus 6Z comes with up to 256GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable using a dedicated microSD card slot. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5), GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, NFC, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.0 and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging. The Asus 6Z has been launched in Midnight Black and Twilight Silver colour variants.
It is worth mentioning here that as soon as the smartphone was announced in the country, it came under the massive controversy. At the time of announcement, the Asus 6Z was known as Asus ZenFone 6. However, the Delhi High court-directed restrain on the sale of Zen or ZenFone-branded products in India due to trademark violations. Asus immediately found a solution and the company launched the Asus ZenFone 6 as Asus 6Z.
