Taiwanese smartphone maker Asus is gearing up to launch its new handset Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 in India. The company has already started teasing out the smartphone through its Twitter handle. Asus has revealed that the device will be sold exclusively on Flipkart. The key highlight of the smartphone is its massive 5,000mAh battery and the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection technology. Earlier, Asus launched Max Pro M1 that came with no notch.

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is likely to be a budget-oriented smartphone and will be sold under Rs 15,000 price bracket.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 expected specifications
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes with a larger display of 6.26-inch FHD+ and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The device will have the latest Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is equipped with 64GB inbuilt storage option, expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB) and 4GB of RAM. The smartphone will ship with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
The device will be offered in Midnight Blue and Cosmic Silver colours according to reports.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS/ GLONASS, micro-USD port, OTG support, and 3.5mm audio jack, reports suggest.

On the camera front, there is a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor for portrait support, coupled with an LED flash.
For selfies, the device will bear a 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
