Tech savvies have all reasons to feel on top of the world as BSNL is all set to launch 4G LTE services in Arunachal Pradesh shortly. The Indian state-owned telecom giant has also started a number of wifi hotspots and is taking necessary steps to provide best internet service in the border state.
Moreover, BSNL will also introduce the 4G services in Itanagar and Naharlagun area anytime soon.
Talking about the latest developments, BSNL general manager Dilip Siram and assistant general manager Arung Siram told a Telecom Advisory Committee that the public telecom service provider has launched wi fi hotspots at Itanagar, Naharlagun, Bordumsa, Chowkham, Dimwe, Kharsang and Likabali Army telephone exchanges.
Ninong Ering, the Congress MP from Arunachal East constituency also attended the meeting and explained the importance of pushing telecom network to every nook and corner of the landlocked Himalayan state, according to a release.

Ering emphasised that the provision of mobile service to 1893 villages under the Comprehensive Telecom Development Plan for North Eastern Region needs to be expedited, the release added.
TAC members Songtung Lowang Bangsia, Tungri Effa and Taki Mibang also took part in the meeting.
