Coronavirus: Realme Narzo 10, Narzo 10A Launch Postponed Due to COVID-19 Lockdown

Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown in India, the launch of Realme’s Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A smartphones have been postponed indefinitely.

Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown in India, the launch of Realme’s Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A smartphones have been postponed indefinitely. It is to be noted that both Realme Narzo 10 and Realme Narzo 10A were scheduled to be launched in India on March 26. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth informed about the postponement of the launch of Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A smartphones via Twitter. Sheth further urged all citizens to stay at home and be safe in this recently announced lockdown as the number of coronavirus cases continue to rise in the country.

In a tweet, Madhav Sheth said, “With respect to the announcement made by our Honourable Prime Minister yesterday, we have decided to suspend all upcoming launches including #realmeNarzo series.”

"Time for us to focus on our family & ourselves. Stay at home, stay safe & cooperate with local authorities," he added in his tweet.

Recently, Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro were launched in India. The two smartphones are available for sale in India via Flipkart, the Realme.com website, and offline retail stores.

Realme 6 & Realme 6 Pro: Price, Availability

On the other hand, the price for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model of Realme 6 in India has been set at Rs 12,999. Whereas, the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Realme 6 costs Rs 14,999 and its 8GB RAM + 128GB variant carries a price tag of Rs 15,999. The smartphone comes in Comet Blue and Comet White colour shades.

The price for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Realme 6 Pro in India has been set at Rs 16,999. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model of Realme 6 Pro costs 17,999 and its 8GB RAM + 128GB variant carries a price tag of Rs 18,999. The smartphone comes in Lightning Blue and Lightning Orange colour options.

Realme 6 features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) Ultra Smooth display with 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs Android 10 with Realme UI on top. Under the hood, the device is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x quad-channel RAM. It offers an internal storage of up to 128GB that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB).

On the imaging front, Realme 6 comes equipped with a quad rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens. Realme 6 Pro sports a 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) Ultra Smooth display with 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs Realme UI on top. The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 720G SoC, along with Adreno 618 GPU and up to 8GB of LPDDR4x dual-channel RAM. Internal storage it offers up to 128GB that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB).

On the imaging front, Realme 6 Pro comes equipped with a quad rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens. The primary camera is assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter with an f/2.3 aperture, a 12-megapixel telephoto shooter with an f/2.5 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with an f/2.4 aperture.
