To contain further spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), PM Modi on March 22 announced complete lockdown for 21 days i.e. till April 14. However, the lockdown has adversely affected business in the country as only essential services are allowed to operate. The smartphone industry has also been affected by lockdown. It is to be noted that Xiaomi, Realme, and Vivo decided to postpone their India launches due to the coronavirus lockdown.
Here Are the Smartphone Launches Postponed Due To Coronavirus Lockdown:
Realme Narzo 10 and Realme Narzo 10A
Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown in India, the launch of Realme’s Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A smartphones have been postponed indefinitely. Last week, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth informed about the postponement of the launch of Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A smartphones via Twitter. Sheth further urged all citizens to stay at home and be safe in this recently announced lockdown as the number of coronavirus cases continue to rise in the country.
Xiaomi Mi 10
Last week, Xiaomi decided to suspend the launch of its flagship Mi 10 in India due to a nationwide lockdown. Xiaomi Mi 10 was supposed to be launched in India on March 31. In a tweet, Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain announced that the company is focusing its energy to support the nation against Coronavirus and has decided to postpone the launch of Mi 10.
It is worth mentioning here that Xiaomi Mi 10 was launched in China on February 14.

Vivo V19
Vivo V19 was all set to be launched in India on March 26. Due to the lockdown, the launch of Vivo V19 was postponed. The company has not revealed when it will launch the smartphone in India.
