Tech savvies will be on cloud nine as Facebook-owned photo-sharing application Instagram is all geared up to launch yet another mouth-watering feature to woo its users.
In a global test, the photo-blogging site is trying to bridge the gap between users' WhatsApp account and Instagram.
If the latest media reports turn out to be true, Instagram will allow a select group of users to post their stories directly on their WhatsApp account.
"Facebook is currently running a test that allows select users to share their Instagram Stories directly on WhatsApp, as a WhatsApp Status," reported TechCrunch, a leading technology media property.
According to reports, the new feature which works using the public API, will be introduced with an aim to connect more people at a time. It will be easier for users to share their special moments with their dear.
The feature is currently available to a select group of people and will be rolled out to more after the test becomes successful.
Those small number of users will have a new option to 'tap' on their Instagram Stories that allows sharing the same directly on WhatsApp. However, users need to press 'send' in order to share their stories with WhatsApp contacts.

Even on this occasion of New Year, Instagram left no stone unturned to cheer their customers.Since past few days, people across the world have been witnessing a new end-of-year trend on Instagram which allows its users to automatically collect and collage their most-liked photos of 2017.
Moreover, people should have their Instagram profile set to public and need to head to '2017 Best Nine' and input their Instagram ID in order to enjoy the same.
