Feature phones have been a running trend in the Indian markets. Adding to the trend, a new feature phone has been launched in the market which will give the users a nostalgia.
Similar to the Nokia 3310, iKall K71 has been launched in the country at a price of Rs 249. Available exclusively via e-commerce platform ShopClues, the phone is actually priced at Rs 625, but as an introductory offer, ShopClues is selling it at an ultra-affordable price of Rs 249.
The iKall K71 strongly resembles Nokia’s 3310 in terms of design, which was relaunched last year.
The iKall K71 has been launched in four colour variants, Red, Yellow, Blue and Dark Blue. With a 1.4-inch TFT QVGA monochrome display and an alphanumeric physical keypad, the K71 has 32 MB RAM and 64 MB of default storage.
The phone possesses a battery of 800mAH which gives a standby time of 24 hours. In additional specifications, the phone has a LED torch and a 3.5mm audio jack. Apart from all this, Nokia’s famous Snake game is missing from the phone.
ShopClues is confident on selling this phone as according to them, this feature phone will penetrate deep into the tier 3 and tier 4 of the Indian society.
Raunak Raheja, Senior Director- Categories at ShopClues, said in a statement, “This is a defining moment for the mobile handset sector. Contrary to popular belief, feature phones do it all, fulfilling all needs of communication, entertainment and information search for their audience.
The iKall K71 is now available exclusively on ShopClues at a very attractive price, that will enable a large part of the populace to enter the mobile world. We have seen tremendous success at ShopClues with the sub-Rs.500 category of phones given our market penetration in Tier 3 and Tier 4 India, and we are very delighted to be the only ones offering this break-through price with the iKall K71.”
