WhatsApp spam messages are nothing new on the internet. These messages always annoy people on emails and text messages most of the time. Other than those two, advertisement messages have flooded WhatsApp with the growing popularity of the medium.

A new bug has been reported by several people, the latest spam message which starts with a ‘black dot’ and ends with ‘Don’t Touch Here’ has a virus which can hand the WhatsApp application.

The trendy message which is getting forwarded these days, reads, “I can hang your WhatsApp for a while just touch below message” and is followed by the message, “don't-touch-here”.”

The truth is the message has some invisible characters which crash the application. Initially, it might sound like a prank as human tendency is to tap the message especially to see what happens next. The bug is affecting only the android smartphones, but people with iPhone should be aware of future consequences too.

If you get this kind of message, then make sure that you don’t tap it and try to delete it as fast as you can.

This is not the first time that such a message has been circulating in the platform. Earlier in February, a message with Telugu character was circulating making the iPhones crash.

It is best to avoid such messages and delete it from your beloved smartphones.
