Honor, the sub-brand of Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei, announced the Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20i smartphone in the Indian market on Tuesday. It is to be noted that Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro was launched in London last month.
Honor 20: Specifications & Price
The dual-SIM (Nano) Honor 20 have 6.26-inch displays with small punch-hole cameras to the top left of the display and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It runs Android 9 Pie with Magic UI 2.1 on top. Interestingly, the smartphone is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM. The handset measures 154.25x73.97x7.87mm and weighs 174 grams.
Honor 20 comes in Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black and Icelandic White. Coming to the optics, Honor 20 is equipped with a quadruple rear camera setup, with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 16-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 2-megapixel depth assist camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel selfie camera. There are also various camera features, including AI Camera, AI Ultra Clarity mode, and AI Colour mode.
Honor 20 packs a 3,700mAh battery with 22.5W Honor Super Charge support, Virtual 9.1 Surround Sound technology, dual microphones and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Coming to the price, Honor 20 in India will be retailed at Rs 32,999 and the smartphone will be offered via Flipkart starting June 25.
Honor 20 Pro: Specifications & Price
Like Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro also comes in 6.26-inch displays with small punch-hole cameras to the top left of the display. The dual-SIM (Nano) Honor 20 Pro runs on Android 9 Pie with Magic UI 2.1 on top. In the software front, the smartphone is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor. The smartphone further includes up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. It measures 154.60x73.97x8.44mm and weighs approximately 182 grams.
The Honor 20 Pro comes in Phantom Blue and Phantom Black. The Honor 20 Pro is equipped with a quadruple rear camera setup. It sports a primary 48-megapixel shooter with an f/1.4 lens and a large 0.5-inch sensor. There's a secondary 16-megapixel super-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 117-degree angle lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture that support 3x lossless optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, 30x digital zoom and a fourth 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 aperture for 4cm near macro photography. It has a 32-megapixel selfie camera at the front.
The Honor 20 Pro has a 4,000mAh battery with a 22.5-watt Honor Super Charge support in the box. The smartphone uses a USB Type-C port at the bottom and doesn't have a headphone jack. Other features it include are Virtual 9.1 Surround Sound technology, dual microphones and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Honor 20 Pro comes in only one colour in India - Phantom Blue and is priced at Rs 39,999.
Honor 20i specifications & Price
Honor 20i comes in 6.21-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The dual-SIM (Nano) Honor 20i is powered by octa-core Kirin 710F SoC, paired with the Mali G51MP4 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0.1 on top. Interestingly, the budget phone also comes with the GPU Turbo 2.0 feature to provide an enhanced gaming experience.
As far as the optics are concerned, the Honor 20i is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, which sports a 24-megapixel Primary shooter with an f/1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. It houses a 32-megapixel camera on the front. The device measures 154.8x73.64x7.95mm and it weighs 164 grams.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth 4.2. It is packed with a 3,400mAh battery.
