Honor 20i, an affordable mid-range smartphone, has gone on sale in India from today onwards via Flipkart. It is to be noted that Honor, the sub-brand of Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei, introduced the Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20i smartphone in the Indian market.
Importantly, Honor 20i can be seen as a successor to the Honor 10 Lite in terms of the specs on offer and the price. The Honor 20i costs Rs 14,999 in India and went on sale at 12pm on Flipkart today.

The smartphone comes in 6.21-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The dual-SIM (Nano) Honor 20i is powered by octa-core Kirin 710F SoC, paired with the Mali G51MP4 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0.1 on top.
It is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, which sports a 24-megapixel Primary shooter with an f/1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. The Honor 20i also houses a 32-megapixel camera on the front.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth 4.2. It is packed with a 3,400mAh battery. Interestingly, the budget phone also comes with the GPU Turbo 2.0 feature to provide an enhanced gaming experience.
On the competition front, the Honor 20i is up against Redmi Note 7 Pro, Realme 3 Pro, Xiaomi Poco F1 and Samsung Galaxy M40 in the Indian market. Samsung Galaxy M40 has also gone on sale from today onwards.
