Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has announced the launch of its latest smartphone, Honor 9 Lite, the flagship of its recently launched Honor 9.
Honor 9 Lite will be available for purchase from December 26 in China. No specific date for Indian markets have been announced.
The smartphone’s design and other features will be more or less same as the company’s other devices. The major highlight of this phone will be bezel-less 18:9 display with four cameras.
The Honor 9 Lite will be available in three variants, first with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage priced at 1,199 Yuan (approx. Rs 11,667), the second with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage priced at 1,499 Yuan (approx. Rs 14,586) and the third variant with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage priced at 1,799 Yuan (approx. Rs 17,506).
The smartphone will be available in four colour options, Navy Blue, Seagull Grey, Magic Nightfall and Pearl White.
The Honor 9 Lite features a 5.65-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 2160 X 1080 pixel, which converts into 18:9 ratio aspect and is powered by the company’s in-house HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor.
On the camera front, the phone will feature dual cameras on the back and front. The cameras come as 13mp primary sensor and 2mp secondary sensor on both the platforms.
The smartphone is backed by 3000mAH battery and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system based on EMUI 8.0. With a fingerprint sensor on the rear end, the device supports 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and micro-USB port.
The measurements of the phone are said to be 151 mm X 71.9 mm X 7.60 mm and weights 149 grams.
