Huawei’s Honor launched the much awaited second quad-camera smartphone, Honor 9 Lite, in India on Wednesday. The sale of the smartphone will commence from January 21 exclusively via Flipkart.
The Honor 9 Lite runs on the on the flagship company’s latest EMUI 8.0, based on Android 8.0 Oreo and sports a 5.65-inch FullHD+ IPS display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and 428ppi pixel density.
India happens to be the second country in which the device is launched, after the Chinese launch in December.
The 9 Lite was launched in two variants, one with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage priced at Rs 10,999 and the other with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB variant priced at Rs 14,999. Both the variants will be exclusively available on Flipkart and Honor India Stores.
The first flash sale for the Honor 9 Lite will be at 12 am (midnight) on January 21 and the second flash sale will be on the same day at 12 noon. Furthermore, the second and third sale will be held on January 22 and January 23 respectively.
The company took to Twitter to announce the date and time for flash sale. It tweeted, "Excited to own the beautiful and power packed #Honor9Lite ? Flash sale starts on 21st January at 12am! Get notified on Flipkart. #MaxYourBeauty"
The smartphone will be available in colour variants of Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black, and Glacial Grey.
On the camera front, the phone features a dual-camera setup on both front and rear end with 13-mp + 2-mp lens on each end. The rear camera has LED flash and PDAF autofocus.
Other connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB port with OTG support, 3.5mm audio jack, and 3G/4G VoLTE connections.
