Tech savvies have all the reasons to feel on top of the world as a bunch of high-end smartphones hit the market in past couple of days. While Apple has unveiled its much-anticipated device iPhone 8 along with iPhone 8 plus and iPhone X, android makers are leaving no stone unturned to woo its shoppers.
In recent days, Android phone makers Samsung and Xiaomi launched the high-end Note 8 and Mi Mix 2, respectively, which stack well against the new iPhone.
OnePlus, the Shenzhen based Chinese smartphone manufacturer had also launched their much-hyped device OnePlus 5 back in June which has been doing good till the date.

Display:

Both Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 have featured bezel-less display as the primary source of attraction. Where Mi MIX 2 sports a 5.99-inch FHD (1080x2160-pixel) IPS display with aspect ratio of 18:9, the Note 8 on the other hand features a much superior amoled screen with QHD+ resolution (1440x2960pixel) with a display size of 6.3 inch. Samsung has done away with a hard home botton, instead has placed a ‘soft’ one that features 3D Touch-like functionality. The Galaxy note 8 comes with a stylus. OnePlus 5 is having an 5.5-inch full HD display and also comes up come with the USB C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Galaxy Note 8 features a dual 12-megapixel rear cameras with OIS and f/1.7 wide-angle lens and f/2.4 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. It also features a super 8-megapixel camera with f/1.7 aperture. The Mi Mix 2 comes with a 12-megapixel rear camera and sports a 5-megapixel front camera. OnePlus 5 is made of a 16-megapixel main camera (Sony IMX398 sensor, 1.12-micron pixels) with an f/1.7 aperture, said to capture 34 percent more light than the OnePlus 3T (which had an aperture of f/2.0), coupled with a 20-megapixel telephoto camera (Sony IMX350 sensor, 1-micron pixels) with an f/2.6 aperture.

The Mi MIX 2 comes with a 3400 mAH battery and runs on android 7.1 Nougat while the Note 8 comes with 3300 mAH battery and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Both Mi MIX 2 and the Note 8 has the Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 to run your high end games and graphics. OnePlus 5 is doing no less which is powered by 3600mAh battery and runs on Android Nougat.
Price:
The price war is obviously going to be a big factor in deciding the make that you are going to purchase. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 prices for the variants with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage have been set as CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 32,300), CNY 3,599 (roughly Rs. 35,300), and CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 39,200), respectively. Whereas the South Korean electronic giant Samsung has priced Galaxy Note 8 at Rs 67,900. OnePlus has set a whopping amount of Rs 32,999-Rs. 37,999 for its users.
