Days after the launch, HTC Wildfire X has finally gone on sale in India for the first time ever. The sale of HTC Wildfire X began on Flipkart on August 22 (Wednesday) at 12 pm (noon). Yes, you read it right. HTC’s newly-launched smartphone comes equipped with the Mybuddy feature, triple rear cameras and a waterdrop-style display notch.

The base 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant of HTC Wildfire X price in India costs Rs 9,999. The price of 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of HTC Wildfire X has been set at Rs 12,999. The smartphone is available only in Sapphire Blue colour option.
As far as the sale offers are concerned, buyers of HTC Wildfire X will get coupons worth Rs 3,750 for Vodafone and Idea subscribers along with an additional 500MB data per day for 18 months. The operator will provide a total of 50 coupons worth Rs 75 each that will be available upon recharging with Rs 255 through the MyVodafone or MyIdea app.

HTC Wildfire X features a 6.22-inch HD+ (720x1520 pixels) HD+ IPS display with the waterdrop-style notch. The dual-SIM (Nano) HTC Wildfire X runs Android 9 Pie and it is powered by an octa-core SoC, mated with 3GB and 4GB RAM options. It comes with 32GB and 128GB of onboard storage options and both the variants are expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).
On the imagining front, the newly-launched smartphone comes equipped with triple rear camera that houses a 12-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel secondary shooter and a 5-megapixel tertiary, depth sensor. The back camera also supports 8x hybrid zoom and is paired with a dual-tone LED flash. On the front, HTC Wildfire X sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. HTC Wildfire X also comes with an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor at the back. It packs a 3,300mAh battery that supports 10W charging. The device measures 156.7x74.9x7.95mm.
In India, HTC Wildfire X competes against the likes of Realme 3i, Redmi Note 7S and Nokia 4.2.
