Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 was recently launched in India. News Nation brings to you the head-to-head comparison between these three phones on the basis of features, specifications and price.

Huawei Y9 Prime 2019

Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is an upgraded variant of the Huawei Y9 that was launched in India in January, 2019. Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 features 6.59-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) LCD screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

The smartphone is powered by octa-core Kirin 710F processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. The upgraded variant of Huawei Y9 runs on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0.

On the imagining front, Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup, which sports a 16-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a third 2-megapixel sensor. Also, there is a 16-megapixel sensor on the front, which is a part of the pop-up selfie camera module.

Other features the phone include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity support, a rear fingerprint sensor, GPS, USB-Type C and 4G LTE support. Further, it has 4,000mAh battery. The device measures 1 63.5x77.3x8.8mm and it weighs 196.8 grams. The handset also sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 costs Rs 15,990. The smartphone is already available for sale via Amazon India. The smartphone will be made available in Emerald Green and Sapphire Blue colours.

Samsung Galaxy M40

The smartphone weighs 168 grams and has 7.9mm of thickness.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ Infinity-O Display, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 480 nits of brightness. The device runs 9 Pie with One UI on top and has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, paired with Adreno 612 GPU and 6GB of RAM.

As far as the optics are concerned, the smartphone is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 32-megapixel primary shooter. There’s also a 5-megapixel secondary and an 8-megapixel tertiary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 16-megapixel shooter on the front.

On the space front, the Galaxy M40 has 128GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB).

It packs a 3,500mAh battery which is paired with a 15W fast charging technology.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and a USB Type-C port. It is to be noted that there is a fingerprint sensor at the back.

Samsung Galaxy M40 comes in two colour options i.e. Midnight Blue and Seawater Blue gradient.

The smartphone is available through Amazon.in and Samsung Online Shop with a price tag of Rs 19,990.

Vivo Z1 Pro

Vivo Z1 is offered in three storage variants - 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB, and 6GB + 128GB. The prices for 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants are Rs 16,990 and Rs 17,990 respectively.

The Vivo Z1 Pro is the first smartphone to be powered with octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC in India. The new SoC is based on 10nm manufacturing process and includes eight Kryo 360 CPU cores clocked at up to 2.3GHz and Adreno 616 GPU.

It also include Center Turbo, AI Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo and Game Turbo features with an aim to improve the gaming performance.

The smartphone will be housing a 32-megapixel in-display (company speak for hole-punch) selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup with LED flash. It will further pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support as well as a rear fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone is already available for sale.
