State-owned telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has come up with a new prepaid plan for all the IPL freaks! The company’s new prepaid plan offers 3 GB data per day for a validity of 51 days for just Rs 248.
This implies that a prepaid user can avail a total of 153 GB of internet data. The pack is introduced specially for streaming live Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 matches.
BSNL said in a statement, “BSNL presents IPL pack Unlimited data STV-248 for prepaid mobile customers which give unlimited data (3 GB data per day) with validity of 51 days during period of IPL cricket match. This will be useful for our subscriber to stream live IPL matches at a very economical rate.”
Meanwhile, telecom company Bharti Airtel lets the users watch the live streaming of matches without any extra fee on Hotstar. The Airtel TV app lets the users catch the IPL 2018 live and for free. The users need to install the ‘Airtel TV’ app on their smartphones. Both the prepaid as well as postpaid customers can avail this offer.

However, the Airtel users need to pay for the data incurred while live streaming of the matches. The company offers 3 GB data per day at a price of Rs 248, but with a validity of 28 days. This implies that the user will get a total of 84 GB in a month.
Another telecom biggie Reliance Jio offers 4G data for Rs 251 with a validity of 51 days. However, this pack will not offer benefits like free unlimited calling or unlimited SMS.
Jio’s IPL 2018 pack is available on MyJio app and its official website, Jio.com, and the offline retail stores of the company.
