Infinix S5, the entry-level smartphone, was launched in India on Tuesday. The key features on the newly-launched smartphone include a hole-punch display, a 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio, a quad rear camera setup, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Infinix S5: Price & Sale date
The price for the lone 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage variant of Infinix S5 in India has been set at Rs 8,999. The smartphone will go on sale in India via Flipkart, starting from 12 pm (IST) on October 21. Infinix S5 will be made available in Quetzal Crystal and Violet colour options.
Infinix S5: Specifications
Infinix S5 features a 6.6-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 480 nits peak brightness, and a 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The newly-launched entry-level smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs XOS 5.5 Cheetah based on Android 9.0 Pie. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM.
Infinix S5 comes equipped with a quad rear camera setup that houses a 16-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel Super Macro lens capable of shooting at the proximity of 2.5cm, a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens with a 114-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 32-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture on the front.
Infinix S5 has 64GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB) with its own dedicated slot. The device packs a 4,000mAh battery. It also has a rear fingerprint scanner.
