The Birmingham City University in England on Thursday said that the new entrant in the telecom industry Reliance Jio is expected to launch its own Virtual Reality (VR) app next year.
The company is planning to collaborate with the University experts for launching the VR app, the university said.
Jio Head Aditya Bhat and Creative Director and Ankit Sharma visited the university on Wednesday to explore potential partnerships in the future. They also learned about how the university is teaching the next generation students about VR.
Anand Bhanushali, the Founder and Managing Director of philmCGI also visited the university and said, "Today we have discussed a number of opportunities for collaboration.”
