China: KFC partners with Chinese smartphone brand Huawei, unveils limited edition smartphone on 30th anniversary

Kentucky Fried Chicken, best known as KFC, is one of the specialised restaurants of fried chicken across the world. It seems like the American fast food restaurant chain is at present in a mood of celebration and is all set to mark its 30th anniversary of operation in China.

To make the occasion grand and a bit more special KFC has joined hands with Chinese smartphone brand Huawei and unveiled a limited edition smartphone on 13th July in China.

KFC has made the announcement about the launch of the dream piece of Chiken lovers on its Weibo account on Friday and the video is doing rounds on social networking sites.

Featuring the face of KFC founder Colonel Sanders on the back, the red-coloured smartphone has 5-inch display and is powered by a Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage.

The unique gadget comes up with pre-loaded KFC’s K-music app which will allow you to create playlist of your own choice and share them in the restaurant. 3,020mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor with a price tag of about $160 are among the other features of the gadget.

The latest tech piece of KFC would not be activate in most of the places of the world and will lack google services as it is made in China.
