Lava Z53 has recently gone official in India. The key features on Lava Z53 include a quad-core processor, a 6.1-inch display, and an 8-megapixel primary camera, among others. After the launch, Lava International’s Tejinder Singh said, "Lava Z53 comes with a bigger screen and great battery backup which makes it a perfect choice for the first-time smartphone users. With this smartphone, we aim to serve customers better in Tier II and Tier III cities of the country as we have deep penetration there."
The price for Lava Z53 in India has been set at Rs 4,829. The smartphone is already available for sale via Flipkart and offline stores across the country. Lava Z53 comes in Prism Rose and Prism Blue colour options. As for the sale offers on Lava Z53 are concerned, Reliance Jio users can avail of an instant cashback of Rs 1,200 and an additional 50 GB data if they buy the smartphone.
Lava Z53 features a 6.1-inch IPS display with an aspect ratio of 19:9, a resolution of 600x1200 pixels, and a pixel density of 232ppi. Also, there is a dewdrop notch at the top of the display. Lava Z53 supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs on Android 9 Pie (Go Edition) with the company’s Star OS v5.0 Lite on top. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, Lava Z53 comes equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera supported by an LED flash. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera supported by an LED flash.

The device packs a 4120mAh battery. Lava has packed a 7.5W charger inside the box to charge the battery. The smartphone also comes with features such as smart gestures, low power mode, ultra saving mode, and a smart saving mode. Lava Z53 has face unlock feature. There is a dedicated Google Assistant button on the smartphone as well. Additionally, there is an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, and an ambient light sensor on the Lava Z53. There is a 1-year handset warranty on the smartphone.
