Lava Z71, the affordable smartphone, has finally gone official in India. The key features on Lava Z71 include a dedicated Google Assistant key, a waterdrop notch, a rear fingerprint scanner, a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, and a 3,200mAh battery, among others. It also comes with a dual-camera setup.
The price for Lava Z71 in India has been set at Rs 6,299. The smartphone is available for sale in India via Flipkart. Lava Z71 comes in Ruby Red and Steel Blue colour options. As for the sale offers on Lava Z71 are concerned, buyers can avail Rs 1,200 instant cashback and additional 50GB of 4G data to Jio subscribers.
Lava Z71 sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (720x1520 pixels) display with a waterdrop-style notch and 295ppi pixel density. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs on Android Pie-based Star OS 5.1. Under the hood, Lava Z71 is powered by a 2GHz MediaTek Helio A22 quad-core SoC paired with 2GB RAM. It has 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.
On the imaging front, Lava Z71 comes equipped with a dual-rear camera setup that houses a 13-megapixel main sensor. The primary camera is assisted by a 2-megapixel shooter. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera with a f/2.2 aperture.

Lava Z71 packs a 3,200mAh battery. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro USB, GPS, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi hotspot, and more. Sensors onboard include a fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. The phone measures at 145.6x70.9x9mm and weighs 150 grams.
