Lenovo India on Wednesday came out with the Tab 7 in India at a price tag of Rs 9,999. The new tablet cutting edge feature shall be the Dolby Atmos surround sound technology and a front-facing speaker.
It will be sold exclusively through Flipkart. Lenovo is also doling out several launch offers to the first set of buyers of the new Android tablet.
Flipkart has deciphered a lucrative selling strategy by partnering with banks to provide customers attrative discounts. Consumers will get up to 5 per cent instant off if the purchase is made by an Axis Bank Buzz credit card. Lenovo and Flipkart together are also offering no-cost EMI options - which starts from Rs. 1,111 a month.
Lenovo's new Tab 7 is mainly catering to the Indian households, claims the company itself.

Screen - The Android tablet comes with a screen size of 6.98-inch coupled with an IPS display and an HD resolution of 1280x720 pixels. Tab 7 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3GHz, coupled with Mali-T720 GPU. The device also includes 2GB of RAM.
Storage - The Android tablet comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. In the imaging department, the Lenovo Tab 7 comes with a 5-megapixel camera sensor at the back, while on the front it includes a 2-megapixel front camera sensor.
The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and come with a list of proprietary apps and features as well. Tab 7 comes pre-loaded with several applications like -- Lenovo Framework, Lenovo Account, Google Calendar, Google Sheets and a few more.
Lenovo's new Tab 7 comes with several connectivity options including -- Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, A-GPS, micro-USB and also supports 4G LTE. The tablet is backed by a 3500mAh lithium-polymer battery. Lenovo claims that the 3500mAh battery delivers up to 10 hours of playback time on a single charge.
