If the reports are to be believed, Lenovo will launch its technological marvel a 5G-ready smartphone powered with Snapdragon 855 SoC in the beginning of 2019. Taking to Weibo, Lenovo Vice President Chang Cheng made the announcement that their company would be the first to launch the Next-gen 5G phone. "The world's first 5G mobile phone comes from Lenovo. Comment 1: Qualcomm Xiaolong 855 blessing....," Cheng wrote on Weibo.

Qualcomm hasn’t debuted its Snapdragon 855 chip yet, but it is speculated that the powerful chip is already in the making. It’s likely to be released at Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit in the first week of December. Reports suggested that Lenovo could introduce the 5G phone under its own name or under Motorola’s, as it acquired the cell phone maker from Google in 2014.
