The Lenovo-owned Motorola Mobility has announced the budget Android smartphone in its Moto E-series i.e. Moto E6. The price of Moto E6 has been set at $149.99 (approx. Rs 10,300). The smartphone will be offered in Navy Blue and Starry Black colours.
In a statement, Motorola said that the phone is now on sale via Verizon in the United States, and it will soon be available via other telecom operators like T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, and US Cellular in the country. Interestingly, the Moto E6 will also be sold via Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and B&H Photo. It is to be noted that Moto E6 will reach Canada soon. However, there is no word on availability in India right now.
Motorola Moto E6: Specifications
Firstly, the Moto E6 is a successor to E5 and does not have any big update. Moto E6 features a 5.5-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) IPS screen with 18:9 aspect ratio and 296ppi. The device runs on Android 9 Pie and packs a single SIM card slot. It likely to house a dual-SIM card slots when the phone will be launched in Asia, Latin America and other regions
The device is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC, clocked at 1.4GHz, and paired with Adreno 505 GPU as well as 2GB of RAM. It packs a 3,000mAh removable battery onboard. There is a 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.
As far as the optics are concerned, Moto E6 houses a 13-megapixel single sensor on the back with an f/2.0 lens with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and a LED flash. Also, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture.
The device measures 149.7x72.3x8.57mm and it weighs 159 grams. You will further get a 2-in-1 front ported speaker, 2 mics, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Micro-USB 2.0 port, and water-repellent P2i nano coating. Other connectivity options include 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and GPS.
