Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched new Moto G7 family of four phones under its G series. The family includes Moto G7, Moto G7 Play, Moto G7 Plus, and Moto G7 Power and all these handsets are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 632 processor – except G7 plus which has Snapdragon 636 processor. These processors are ideal for mid-range handsets which all come with Android Pie pre-installed. According to the company, these smartphones are available in Brazil and Mexico with countries including India, North America, Latin America, and Europe to follow in mid-February and later.
Moto G7 plus
The Moto G7 plus (costs 269 pounds or roughly 24,777) sports a 6.2-inch full HD+ screen, a tear-drop notch and Gorilla Glass back with 4GB of RAM. It has an internal memory of 64GB and can be further expanded up to 512GB using the microSD card slot. It comes with a 16MP+5MP dual camera set-up with optical image stabilisation (OIS) at the back and a 12MP front-facing camera for selfies. It has a 3,000 mAh battery.
Moto G7
The Moto G7 features contoured Gorilla Glass body, a 6.2-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass. It has the same inbuilt storage as G7 Plus (64 GB) with 4GB RAM but it can be further expanded up to 128GB only. This handset has 12+5 dual camera set-up on the back and 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 lens on the front as well. It also has a 3,000 mAh battery. The price of the handset will be around $299 (roughly Rs. 21,300).
Moto G7 Play
The Moto G7 Play is the most affordable of the new G Series family with a price of $199 (roughly Rs. 14,200). With a 5.7-inch screen, the handset has an all-plastic body. It has 2GB RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable (up to 128GB) using a microSD card slot and 3,000mAh battery. The Moto G7 Play comes with a single 13-megapixel camera at the back and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
Moto G7 Power
As the name suggests, the Moto G7 Power has a hefty 5,000mAh battery and it promises 2.5 days of life on a single charge. The handset is splash-proof and has a wide eyebrow-style notch on its 6.2-inch display. It features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable. Motorola has provided a 12-megapixel single camera on the back and an 8-megapixel front shooter. The price of this smartphone in the G7 series is $249 (roughly Rs. 17,800).
