Moto G8 Power Lite, the latest smartphone under Motorola’s G8 series, has gone official. The key features on Moto G8 Power Lite include a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display, MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, triple rear camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery, among others. It is worth mentioning here that Motorola’s G8 series already includes Moto G8 Plus, Moto G8 Power, and Moto G8 Play.
The price for the lone 4GB + 64GB RAM variant of Moto G8 Power Lite has been set at EUR 169 (approx. Rs 13,900). The smartphone will be made available in Mexico and Germany soon. It will go on sale in other countries in Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Australia in the coming weeks. Moto G8 Power Lite comes in two colours option i.e. Arctic Blue and Royal Blue.
Moto G8 Power Lite sports a 6.5-inch (729x1600 pixels) IPS LCD display with a waterdrop-style notch, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 269ppi pixel density. The smartphone runs on Android Pie. Under the hood, the device is powered by the 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio P35 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. Moto G8 Power Lite offers inbuilt storage of 64GB which can be expanded up to 256GB via MicroSD card.
On the imaging front, Moto G8 Power Lite comes equipped with the triple rear camera setup that houses a 16-megapixel main sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and PDAF. The primary camera is assisted by a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth lens with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. Connectivity options on Moto G8 Power Lite include 4G LTE, Micro-USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, and GLONASS. The smartphone measures 164.94x75.76x9.2mm and weigh 200 grams. Moto G8 Power Lite is a water repellent and also has a fingerprint sensor on the back.
