Moto G8, the latest smartphone under Motorola’s G8 series, has gone official. The key features on Moto G8 include a 6.4-inch Max Vision HD+ display, triple rear camera setup, and a 4,000mAh battery, among others. It is worth mentioning here that Motorola’s G8 series already includes Moto G8 Plus, Moto G8 Power, and Moto G8 Play.
The price for Moto G8 in Brazil has been set at BLR 1,299 (approx. Rs 21,000). The smartphone is available in Pearl White and Neon Blue colours. It an official blog, Motorola has said that Moto G8 will soon be launched in Asia, Australia, Europe, and Latin America.
Moto G8 sports a 6.4-inch Max Vision HD+ (720x1,560 pixels) display that includes a 19:9 aspect ratio, pixel density of 269 PPI, and an Active Area-Touch Panel measurement of 88 per cent. The smartphone supports dual-SIM technology and runs Android 10 with stock interface. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC clocked at 2.0GHz, paired with 4GB of RAM. Internal storage it offers 64GB that can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card.
On the imaging front, Moto G8 comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/1.7 aperture. The primary camera is assisted by an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter with an f/2.2 lens and a 118-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with an f/2.2 lens. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, AGPS, LTEPP, SUPL, Glonass, and Galileo. The device packs a 4,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. Moto G8 measures 161.27×75.8×8.95mm and weighs 188.3 grams. Importantly, Motorola claims that Moto G8 has a water-repellent design.
