Motorola One Action has been finally launched in India on Friday. Yes, you read it right. The key features of Motorola One Action include a dedicated 117-degree ultra-wide angle lens action camera, 21:9 Cinema Vision display and Android 9 Pie among others. Motorola One Action will go on sale at 12pm (noon) IST on August 30, 2019 at via Flipkart. The smartphone would be made available in Denim Blue and Pearl White colour variants.
Motorola One Action: Price, launch offers
Motorola One Action comes only in one variant i.e. 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and it costs Rs 13,999. As far as the launch offers on the Motorola One Action are concerned, buyers will get Rs 2,200 Jio instant cashback and 125GB of additional Jio 4G data.
Motorola One Action: Specifications, features
Motorola One Action measures 160.1x71.2x9.15mm and it weighs 160 grams. The smartphone features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2520 pixels) IPS CinemaVision display along with 21:9 aspect ratio.
Motorola One Action runs Android 9 Pie, however, it will be later upgraded to Android 10 and Android 11. Under the hood, the phone has an octa-core Samsung Exynos 9609 SoC, coupled with Mali G72 MP3 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The dual-SIM (Nano) Motorola One Action has 128GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB).
On the imagining front, Motorola One Action sports a triple rear camera setup that includes a 16-megapixel action camera sensor with 2-micron pixel size and f/2.2 lens, 12-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.2 lens. On the front, there is a 12-megapixel camera sensor for selfies.
Importantly, the rear camera of Motorola One Action comes with an 'Enhanced Video Stabilisation' to reduce jerks and shakes in action videos. Further, the camera setup is capable of capturing landscape videos while the phone is in the vertical position and vice versa. On the other hand, the front camera of the newly launched smartphone of Motorola supports features such as Portrait lighting, Shot optimisation, Auto smile capture, Group selfie, Portrait mode, Cinemagraph etc.
Connectivity options on the Motorola One Action include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, fingerprint reader, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The smartphone packs a 3,500mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
It is worth mentioning here that Motorola One Action was unveiled globally last week. The smartphone has already gone on sale in Brazil, Mexico and some parts of Europe with a price tag of EUR 259 (approx. Rs 20,600).
