In May this year, Lenovo-owned Motorola announced that it will be soon launching a new smartphone called the Motorola P50 in the Chinese market. Now, the company has revealed Motorola P50’s price and the commencement of its sale in China. Motorola P50 will cost CNY2,499 (approx. Rs 25,000) and will be available for pre-order in China from July 15. It is to be noted that sales will commence from July 20 onwards. The device will be offered in Sapphire Blue and Bronze colours and will be sold through online retailers like JD.com, Suning.com and Tmall in China.
It is worth mentioning here that the Motorola P50 is essentially the re-branded Motorola One Vision, which was launched in India last month. In India, Motorola One Vision aka Motorola P50 is priced at Rs 19,999.
The Motorola One Vision, which comes with dual-SIM (Nano), runs on Android 9 Pie. It features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2520 pixels) with 21:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Samsung Exynos 9609 SoC, clocked at 2.2GHz and paired with Mali G72 MP3 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
The One Vision phone measures 160.1x71.2x8.7mm, and weighs 181 grams. The premium smartphone packs 4GB of RAM and offers 128GB internal storage as well. The storage can be expanded with a microSD card slot (up to 512GB).
On the optics front, the One Vision sports a 48-megapixel snapper with f/1.7 aperture and another 5-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture. The smartphone also supports dual-LED flash, 8x digital zoom, portrait mode, manual mode, cinemagraph, panorama, active display mode, Auto HDR and many more. On the front, there is a 25-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture as well.
Among other specifications, the One Vision packs a 3,500mAh battery with TurboPower fast charging support. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, more. Sensors on board include fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, compass and magnetometer.
