Korean smartphone giant Samsung has announced a ‘Navratra special offer’ on its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ to attract more customers. The prices of both the smartphones have been cut by Rs 4,000.
After the price cut, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be available at Rs. 53,990 and Rs. 60,990 respectively. In addition, the company has said that the HDFC credit/debit card holders will get extra Rs 4,000 cashback.
However, Samsung hasn’t updated the new prices on its own online store yet. But it has reduced the price of Galaxy S8+ 6GB RAM, 128GB storage variant by Rs 1,000 on its website. It has brought the price down to Rs 64,900.
Earlier, Samsung had launched Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in India back in April this year. With an exclusive launch event in New Delhi, the world’s biggest smartphone maker had unveiled its smartphones in the Indian market.

Both the smartphones were globally launched in March with a mega launch event in New York. After the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+’s launch was the biggest mobile launch in India till that time.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display while the other variant S8+ has a 6.2-inch display. The Galaxy S8 is powered by a 3,000mAh battery while the S8+ comes with a bigger 3,500mAh battery.
