Nokia 2.3 has recently gone on sale in India via the official Nokia India e-shop, authorised retail stores, Croma, Reliance, Sangeetha, Poorvika, Big C, and MyG outlets. The key features on the latest entry-level phone from HMD Global include dual rear camera setup, quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, and 4,000mAh battery, among others. On the competition front in India, Nokia 2.3 is up against Vivo U20. News Nation brings to you the comparison between Nokia 2.3, and Vivo U20 on the basis of specifications, features, and price.

Nokia 2.3

Nokia 2.3 features a 6.2-inch HD+ (720x1520 pixels) in-cell display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) connectivity. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM. Nokia 2.3 runs stock Android Pie software.

On the imaging front, Nokia 2.3 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture, paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The rear camera setup is accompanied by an LED flash module. On the front, the Nokia 2.3 offers a 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

The smartphone boasts of a 32GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable via microSD card (up to 400GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB (v2.0), and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The device packs a 4,000mAh battery, accompanied by a 5W charger. The phone has a polymer body with 3D nano texture for better grip and also features a dedicated Google Assistant button. The price for the sole variant of the Nokia 2.3 in India has been set at Rs 8,199.

Vivo U20

Vivo U20 sports a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) display with a 90.3 percent screen-to-body ratio and a peak brightness of 480 nits. The smartphone supports dual-SIM connectivity and runs Android Pie with Funtouch OS 9 custom skin on top. Under the hood, the device is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM.

On the imaging front, Vivo U20 comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 16-megapixel shooter with the Sony IMX499 sensor and an f/1.8 aperture. It is mated with an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and 120-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies with an f/2.0 aperture.

Vivo U20 comes with 64GB storage that can further be expanded via a microSD card slot (up to 256GB). Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and Galileo.

Sensors on the Vivo’s latest phone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, magnetometer, gyroscope, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports the proprietary Dual-Engine fast charging technology. Vivo U20 also gets the 18W charger. Dimensions of the device are 162.15 x 76.47 x 8.89mm and it weighs 193 grams.

The price for the base 4GB + 64GB variant of Vivo U20 in India has been set at Rs 10,990. On the other hand, the 6GB + 64GB model of Vivo U20 costs Rs 11,990 in India. Vivo U20 comes in Racing Black and Blaze Blue colour options.
