HMD Global on Tuesday has finally launched its much-anticipated Nokia 4.2 in the Indian market. The smartphone was originally unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in the month of February. The main attraction and addition to Nokia 4.2 is a dedicated Google Assistant button and a notification light in the power button.

Nokia 4.2 is available in two variants in global market but in India only the 3GB RAM + 32GB of inbuilt storage version will be available which is priced at Rs 10,990.

The handset will currently be available for sale through company’s online store only for a week exclusively and later it can purchase from other retail outlets including Croma, Reliance, Sangeetha, Poorvika, Big C, and MyG from May 14.

Talking about its features, Nokia 4.2 comes with a 5.71-inch HD+ display with 720x1520 resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio and 270 ppi pixel density. And, also has a waterdrop-style notch at the top.

It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC, paired with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB of RAM.

On optics front, the Nokia 4.2 comes with a dual-camera setup at the back with 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel camera lens with f/2.2 aperture each. For selfies, it has a 8-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

Other connectivity features include Micro-USB 2.0 port, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, FM radio, 4G, and VoLTE as well as VoWiFi support.

The dual-SIM handset runs on Android Pie and is fuelled by 3000mAh battery.
